The TCCC report measures gaps in college and career readiness using student scores on the ACT college entrance exam and WorkKeys test, South Carolinas new assessments for 11th-graders, which replaced the states high school exit exam last spring. Unlike the exit exam, the ACT tests are timed and more rigorous.
